Overview:

We are a modern and dynamic dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to our patients. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team and contribute to our mission of improving oral health and enhancing smiles.

Duties:

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring efficient workflow and patient comfort.
  • Preparing treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing instruments and equipment.
  • Taking and developing dental X-rays.
  • Providing chair-side assistance to the dentist during procedures, including suctioning, passing instruments, and mixing materials.
  • Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with patient confidentiality regulations.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.

Qualifications:

  • Certification or Associate Degree in Dental Assisting
  • X-Ray certification and CPR certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in assisting with CAD/CAM technology is a plus
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Ability to take vital signs and assist with medical imaging
  • Previous experience working in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and fostering a positive patient experience.
  • Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols

Understanding of dental anatomy and terminology
